Recruiting and Onboarding

Recruitment

The multi-step recruitment process at St. Anna CCRI has been created to ensure and maintain the high standards and demands the institute represents. Our goal is to find the most fitting candidates with the best skills who are motivated to work in an internationally renowned research environment.

Applications can only be transmitted online and need to include at least a CV and a motivational letter (please check the specific job ad for more details). Pre-Selection is conducted through the submitted application documents to create a long list of candidates followed by a telephone, video or personal interview to create a short list of candidates. The short-listed candidates are invited to a hearing. After successfully participating in the hearing, the candidate may receive an offer from the institute.

Onboarding

After receiving an offer from St. Anna CCRI, the onboarding process starts. You will receive all information from the HR team, starting with the documents we need to prepare your employment contract, an invitation to present yourself to your new colleagues and information on your first working day. On your first day you will participate in our Welcome Session together with all the other new hires, get your IT equipment set up and join in on a short location tour. We will also take a picture of you for your ID card and our website.

The first month will be dedicated to meeting your stakeholders and deep-diving into your new role. You will also attend the mandatory Health & Safety training. After the first month you will meet again with HR as part of the 1 month coffee break to chat about your first impressions.  We will continue to support you throughout your onboarding experience and will invite you to a check in after 3 months to reflect on your onboarding journey.

Your onboarding phase will last for about 3 months. While starting a new role can be very exciting, the onboarding phase usually is a very intense period. During this time, you will meet many people and learn a lot about the institute and our culture. You can ask as many questions as you need to get the best insight into how we work and what your contribution could be. Your supervisor, your co-workers and the HR team will all help you settle in.

We are also happy to assist you in applying for work permits and all labor law questions related to your employment relationship at St. Anna CCRI.
